I wanted to let everyone know that I will be leaving Crossrail today to take on a new assignment with my parent company, Nichols Group at Transport for London. I have enjoyed over three years on the project and will miss the Crossrail team. I have been lucky enough to get involved in some challenging aspects of the Crossrail programme including Old Oak Common, Paddington New Yard and Plumstead. I would like to extend a special thank you to everyone who has contributed to making the Innovation Programme a success and for all the support, insights, and help you have freely offered to me and the team.
You will be pleased to hear that Marie Gilmour will be taking over from me. Many of you will have already worked with her when she proved her considerable worth delivering some very challenging innovation projects earlier this year. I wish her all the best in what is a fantastic role and I have no doubt she will be warmly welcomed by everyone.
If you would like to join me for a farewell drink; the innovation team will be celebrating the end of the Winter 2015 investment round from 1730hrs on 5 February 2015 at the Pearson Room located above Waitrose (16-19 Canada Square, Canary Wharf).
I would very much like to stay in touch; I can always be reached on my Nichols email address (email@example.com) or on 07730 814033.
