    This is good news!

The document itself is well worth a read. For me an important aspect is the move towards a ‘whole life systems performance’ focus. Figure 3 (page 22) is a key one for me, with objectives and measures across four levels – project, asset, network, and system. Understanding the interactions between stakeholder needs and constraints within and between these levels is going to be the real challenge, if we get it right as an industry we have the opportunity to define a new ‘norm’ for infrastructure delivery which is a quantum leap from where we stand today.

Collaboration is going to be key – which is why IPA’s commitment to join I3P is such an important step!
